Warrant [ tickets ] is scrambling to put together a new summer schedule after an injury to tour partner Cinderella [ tickets ]'s lead singer has forced the cancellation of its upcoming US outing. The veteran hard rockers, who feature their original lineup--Jani Lane (vocals), Joey Allen (lead guitar), Jerry Dixon (bass), Erik Turner (guitar) and Steven Sweet (drums)--on the road for the first time since 1994, were set to kick off a two-month stretch later this month with Cinderella, Lynch Mob and Lynam."It's with unbelievably deep regret that I must announce that Cinderella's Tom Keifer's left vocal cord has hemorrhaged, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future," Cinderella manager Tim Heyne said last week in a press statement."Tom felt his throat give way last [week] finishing the set in pre-production rehearsals, went to his vocal doctor (Dr. Stephen Mitchell) in Nashville this morning, and was told the grim news. In the short term, Tom's doctor told him it would be two to three weeks before the swelling and damage would recede to a point to where an assessment can be made as to whether surgery will be required."Consequently, and again, most regretfully, we have no choice but to postpone the upcoming Cinderella tour until such time as Tom is ready tour again," Heyne added."Warrant would like to wish Tom a speedy recovery and hopes that the tour may be postponed for another time," read a post on Warrant's MySpace page.Fans holding tickets to the canceled shows will be refunded at their point of purchase.Warrant still has several scheduled appearances this summer outside of the canceled Cinderella tour dates, including a June 22 show in Montreal with Motley Crue and a July 12 slot at the four-day Rocklahoma festival in Pryor, OK. Details on the remaining dates are included below.Warrant's most recent studio album, 2006's "Born Again," is the band's only album to feature singer Jaime St. James, who departed following original lead singer Lane's return to the group earlier this year.
